Happy 7th Birthday Sweet Ethan

Well the boy is 7 today. Today was the last day at Cub Scout Day Camp, so they had some special stuff planned. They had a reptile guy come and a guy who dives for treasures off a Spanish boat come. The camp was themed Pirates ;) Anyway, all the kids really enjoyed that. Then we had two of Ryan's friends swimming for a couple hours after camp. We also got to go to dinner w/ one of those boys and his parents (who are also are friends) at Friendly's. Nice day. Again I will add pictures when that function works again. Hasn't worked since we installed McAfee. UGH!

It doesn't get much better than driving down the road with 3 - 9 year old boys, 1 almost 7 year old and a 5 year old girl singing "Yellow Submarine". The boys have had Cub Scout Camp all week and I have been doing the driving. They have been such a riot for the most part. Today we got to see some skits and the boys earned a ton of stuff. They had a blast this week and tomorrow is going to be the icing on the cake! Hard to believe how big these kids are getting. :)

We had an unexpected visitor today. I ran in the house in between dinner and going to a friends to swim and my kids were yelling for me. Well come to find out we had a squirrel on our porch. The silly thing crawled in under the screen (we don't have a doggie door for Zach) and he got stuck. I will have to show you all some pictures again when I get this whole pc deal figured out. Anyway, Rob opened the door to offer him a way to escape and I guess he finally figured out he could go back out the way he came because threw the screen he scrambled right at RYAN who was standing there. LOL!! It scared the crap out of him and the squirrel was pretty scared too. Anyway, thats our event of the day! ;)

I don't think that I mentioned that we have baby Koi in the pond. We are soooo excited, they have been out there for about 3 weeks or so. Now yesterday before we left Rob said that the boys (koi) were chasing her around the pond and she was going up, down and all over the place. So today we wake up to eggs EVERYWHERE! I hope we get a couple more. Again as soon as I can figure out why I can't post photos (or I will take them over the boys pc again), I will share the photos. Laid back day, the eggs were our big excitement. Also, not much news on my dad's poor garage. I saw pictures and it looks like they have a lot of work ahead of them. I hope all goes well with the insurance adjuster tomorrow.

Well my day began with a bang. Well not literally, but I was told about a certain explosion that happened in my Dad's garage. They are guessing it is due to a build up a Methan (sp?) Gas from the sewage. Lots of stuff ruined and damaged. He still had not assessed it all when we spoke this am :( . Sooo he wasn't able to make it up for the family birthday party. Nice day with the family in Orlando. Great to see everyone. We went to this extremely cool Skatepark up in Orlando, I think we all really enjoyed watching the littles and bigs skating (inline and skateboard). I can really see Ryan wanting to start doing this, you can see a spark. And after Ethan saw it I see a spark with him. He wants me to get him a board, pads and helmet for his birthday. Megan of course was fascinated and the highlight was seeing a GIRL boarding ;) I told her that girls do this too, just not as many. Got the kids much needed sneaks and some new knock off crocs. :) Home and we are tired. Just as soon as I can figure out how to get pictures up here I will post a few.

A Couple of Not so Camera Shy Girl...

The pink dress is a beautiful handpainted dress that we received from Korea when a friend of the family used to travel. Miss Meg finally fits in it and I just had to share. The second set is a white dress I bought to take some beach pictures, so you may see that one again ;) She is such a hambone! Excuse the wet hair, it was right after a bath.

Ethan's in love with his new Lego Set....

Ethan got some birthday gift cards, well all the kids did. Anyway, Ethan picked out 3 Star Wars Lego sets and can I tell you that boy has been soooo content...
